A large sized Receiver, as big as a 'Monster' Receiver at 487mm wide, 184mm high & 356mm deep if 405mm deep inc fittings & pre out-in connectors. 110-120-200-240v Multivoltage.
A Real Beauty in Top Grade with a lighter Golden Teak we assume. No lettering worn off the fascia & all the controls complete. Even semi-Mirror finish metal casework inside which is unusual.
65w Rated with Doubled Output Transistors which is on very few earlier amps, with our upgrads the rating will exceed that as Current Handling will be better.
The Sound as using our Tannoy 15" Golds is a clean detailed sound with wide Stereo, a Richer sound than some if still detailed & with the deep bass. Some amps we're playing as of typing are a lot more upfront & this has a more mellow Domestic sound if still with the Quality of sound.
Unique Tuner display with 'barrels' inside & a light to show where it's tuned. We put new bulbs in these & this is as bright as it was on 2 other ones of this amp. Tuner works on AM, FM works if it could be made better with alignment & the correct tools to adjust the Front End stage, the Stereo bulb doesn't light.
The Preamp board underneath with the 4 bigger capacitors we rebuilt with New Transistors as these are always hissy & just to try it, Redesigned the Preamp to lose the Heavy NFB to bring a much fresher sound, see the difference on the 'Solds Gallery' one. A lot of extra work we put in this Beauty & a Top Grade one means it's priced accordingly. Actually the job we've done on this would exceed the Sell Price, if to see if The Market is ready for one like this at this price. The Sony STR-6120 in high grade with the Wood Case can make this, so reality is in the pricing.
Conmdition as you can see is Very High, Fascia is top condition, no marks or lettering loss, as good as you'll get. Wood case is crisp on the corners, just the odd minor mark but still a 9/10 overall. We fitted 4mm connectors & this has a very long 3 core cable as fitted.
Back panel has a socket for optional extra "Remote Control" that does the same as "Mute" on the front panel via a relay. Speakers 'A' on the fascia are for 6.3mm Mono Jacks & Speakers 'B' are for the 4mm sockets.
This is the Third one of these we've had & way the best grade. A Collector's Delight as well as a Vintage Retro Delight. Bigger than it looks & Very Classy looking too.
THE AMP ITSELF WEIGHS ABOUT 16KG
