Now has Brighter 8V LED bulbs making a smarter look than pictured. Yes. The Crazy Huge "Jumbo" KR-6170. A Huge 'Monster' Receiver like No Other. Features a Spring Reverb Amp & a "Beat Box" Rhythm Composer which is All Analog with Transistors, both can be switched off. Also it's an Electric Guitar Amp! Must be Very Rare in the UK, this the Kenwood version, likely there wasn't a Trio one. One we'd like to keep as it's a Fascinating PA sound, but it's a big amp. Bargain for a Fully working Recapped & Upgraded one, huge £££ job in this. Upgraded Further to see how good it can be. Bargain for the Sound. Punchy Fast Sound, Crisp Clear Treble & a proper Bass. After Blogging & Comparing, to find this has a Great Smooth Sound yet still Punchy, to use it's Sound Idea elsewhere which we have, so Back For Sale. Huge Amount of Work in this, we do some Amps for our own interest if do sell them on as not to keep too many. It's also a Great FM/AM Receiver Too, Great Crisp sounding one. More than just a Gimmick, this is for Stage & Gig use. The Retro Rhythm Beats useful as Ambient Music using Reverb & Slowing the Beats Down, Very Trippy. These Stages All Work. FM plays Stereo with ease if bulb not lighting. All Serviced & Tested. Recap & Upgrade on the Power Amp, Tone amp, related Audio Boards if not the Reverb, Tuner or Composer boards. Big 15000uf main capacitor. Power Amp board rebuilt with New Transistors to keep it tidy & reliable. Power Supply underneath redone & upgraded. Uses a New Main Rectifier Block of Higher Spec. LEDs behind the Tuner Window if Bulbs in the 3 meters as it was too flickery with LED, meters slightly differ in blue tone as aged. All the Buttons & Controls work. Base cover shows the 'X' beams to add strength. See Below for a Run Through of what they Do... CONDITION. For a Semi-Pro Receiver & this Big, it's in Decent Condition, looks good on a Table. Not Perfect by any means, but Respectable like a Retro Vintage Item showing use. The Side Bezel to the Fascia was missing & we made an aluminium side piece that looks decent. The Lever Switch for the 'Composer' we made a Metal one so it's strong in use. All other Controls are original. A few marks on the Volume & tuning Knobs on the face are tidied. All lights work, only 'Aux 2' bulb isn't lighting currently. The Fascia Top Edge under the Tuner Window shows slight loss if again others are like this, tidied it a bit with a Paint Pen. Top Lid looks decent from a distance, nicer than our bright pics suggest if right up close it shows some use & scratches. We just washed it & stained it to look tidy, no sanding or lacquer. Has 4 new Rubber Feet, rear ones were as Bath Plugs. Reverb Clamp lock works & new bit of foam fitted. Up to the New Owner to Enjoy As-Is or Improve. Priced Sensibly for Grade & Work put in, a Top Grade one would go much more. Speaker Connectors left as Original. These 16 screws unscrew with no squashed grip end & you can screw the VOSO connectors straight in to use with 4mm connectors. 110-120-220-240v switch on the rear so Multivoltage. Sound Quality is a Clean & Precise Sound. Light Compression in the Design makes Rough Tracks sound a lot better. As this is a Guitar-Pro Amp too, the Bass is limited to not cause bother, 33w RMS can still be Very Loud with PA Speakers. Plays a Bassy Sound if not Deep Low Bass. Sounds Great on Speakers still. ALL THOSE CONTROLS. We've used this so here's what you get. A Lot. TOP ROW under the Tuner window. Power On, Speakers 1-4 selectable as the User Manual will tell, 8 ohm speakers if 2+. Power Limiter on a 33w amp they call 160w Full Power which is 'Music Power' best leave Full if push it in to work as it limits the Power Amp circuit & don't switch unless the amp is off. Row of Lights for Inputs etc. Hi-Lo Filter. Muting to lower the volume fast. Mono-Stereo, Reverse, Tape 1&2. MIDDLE ROW in silver has Reverb use & slider for amount of Reverb. Buttons & Controls for the Rhythm Composer as Speed plus Tone just for this stage. The Big Rotary midway is a 2 Hour Timer, leave it alone in normal use if a countdown timer works. Don't play with it as it can seen 'Off' as the Timer has expired, see User Manual. Next Section is Audio Balance, Tone, Mood Tone settings inc Defeat & Tone Control. Main Volume, Input Selector & Radio Tuning. LOWER THIN ROW. Guitar Input for L+R or use R for Double Mono. Foot Pedal socket as User Manual explains. 2 Headphones 1 is variable.
